Gohier is home to a very good public transit system owing to 2 rapid transit stations (Côte-Vertu Station and Du Collège Station) with access to the Orange Line, and approximately 30 nearby bus lines. Gohier will also appeal to active home buyers since it is quite convenient for walking; many common errands can be run without needing to use a vehicle, and there are also a good number of businesses in proximity. Biking is challenging in this part of Montréal because the bicycling infrastructure is rather poor. Nonetheless, riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain.
