Ville-Marie features a great public transit system due to a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Ligne 2 - Orange, Ligne 1 - Verte, Gare Centrale - Brossard and Ligne 4 - Jaune, and over 50 nearby bus lines. Home buyers who want to be in a walkable area will also welcome the especially pedestrian-friendly nature of Ville-Marie; most daily needs are especially convenient to meet without a vehicle, and a very large number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Rue Saint-Paul is among the most lively streets in this area.
