Laurendeau is a neighbourhood within Longueuil, Quebec, which is situated in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Laurendeau is very car friendly. Parking is easy, and nearby highways, such as Autoroute de l'Acier, are very easy to reach from any location in Laurendeau. On the other hand, the transit service in this part of the city is not especially convenient. Thankfully, there are approximately 30 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most houses. Walking is not very common in Laurendeau, despite the fact that most daily needs are convenient to carry out without a vehicle. In contrast, Laurendeau is moderately suited for cycling because the topography is fairly flat.

Services

Parents and their children will welcome that wherever their property is situated in Laurendeau, daycares and primary schools are close by. In contrast, high schools are not particularly plentiful and accordingly may require a long walk to get to. With respect to food, it is easy to access the nearest supermarket without a vehicle from anywhere in Laurendeau. Residents are served by approximately 30 restaurants and cafes as well.

Character

There is a vast selection of green spaces in Laurendeau.
