Crescent Town is a neighbourhood within Toronto, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Crescent Town is a very good part of Toronto with respect to getting around without driving. The very good transit system allows people to get to many destinations without needing a car. For example, rapid transit stations, including Main Street Station - Westbound Platform and Victoria Park Station - Westbound Platform with access to the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), are not very far away from most houses in the neighbourhood. Residents have access to around 10 bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally around the corner. Many of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are also rather well-suited for pedestrians; meeting daily needs is convenient without a car, and a variety of businesses are moderately close by. Crescent Town is very conducive to biking since there are a good number of bike lanes.

Services

Daycares and schools are especially easy to get to on foot from most houses for sale in Crescent Town. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools. When it comes to food, house buyers in this neighbourhood will value that a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a short trip away. A majority of the housing growth in Crescent Town took place in the 1960s and 1970s.
