Transportation

Woodbine-Lumsden enables homeowners to get around using a diversity of means of transportation. This area is very transit friendly. More specifically, Rapid transit stations, such as Woodbine Station - Westbound Platform and Woodbine Station - Eastbound Platform on the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), are not very far from the majority of residences in the neighbourhood. There are a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. This neighbourhood is also quite convenient for those who travel by foot; running daily errands is easy, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. The bicycle is a reasonably good mode of transportation in this area since.

Services

It is a short walk to access schools and daycares from any location in this part of the city. In terms of food, it is straightforward to get to both a general and a specialty grocery store on foot from most properties for sale in this part of Toronto. Likewise, this part of the city is a good place in which to go out to eat, and a limited selection of cafes is available as well.

Character

The character of Woodbine-Lumsden is exemplified by its relaxed environment. This part of the city features a good amount of greenery as numerous tree-lined streets are present. Green spaces, including Taylor Creek Park and Stan Wadlow Park, are very well-situated and there are a few of them close by for residents to unwind in, which results in them being very easy to get to from the majority of locations within the neighbourhood. This area is very quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
