Transportation

Cars are a great means of transportation in Louth. It is very easy to park, and many homes for sale are a very short car ride from the closest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way. In contrast, the public transit system in this area is not very accessible. Nevertheless, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually a short walk away. The bicycle is a rather poor mode of transportation in this part of St. Catharines as cyclists encounter quite a few elevation changes, and there are few bike lanes. This neighbourhood is also not very convenient for walking as few day-to-day errands can be run without needing to resort to a car.

Services

There are only a few primary schools in Louth and consequently they can be a long walk away. Moreover, this area does not have any high schools. Additionally, it can be very difficult to reach daycares as a pedestrian. In terms of eating, a car is almost always needed in this neighbourhood to access the nearest grocery store.
