North Oakville

The neighbourhood of North Oakville can be found in the town of Oakville, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in North Oakville. The vast majority of the street infrastructure is conducive to driving, and it is especially convenient to find a place to park. However, the public transit service in North Oakville is not very frequent. Nevertheless, residents have access to a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of the town are located in areas that are not very well-suited for those who prefer to travel as pedestrians as meeting daily needs is impractical without a car. Despite the fact that it is an even ride to most destinations, North Oakville is also not very suited for biking because the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive.

Services

North Oakville does not have any high schools or primary schools. In addition, it can be very difficult to access daycares by foot. Concerning food, house buyers in North Oakville almost always have to use a car to shop for their groceries.

Character

North Oakville offers a great variety of green spaces to enjoy. Numerous locations within the neighbourhood have fairly good access to public green spaces, such as Lower Base Line Park, and there are a few of them nearby for residents to relax in. Lastly, this area can be rather noisy, as during rush hour, traffic can occasionally be bothersome.
