Transportation

This part of Mississauga will draw active home buyers because it is quite convenient for walking; carrying out daily needs is easy on foot. This part of the city is also quite bicycling-friendly. The public transit network in Lakeview is not particularly practical. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. In contrast, Lakeview is especially car friendly. It is very easy to come across a place to park, and most properties for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way.

Lakeview is a good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. This part of Mississauga is quiet, as the streets are generally calm - although there are still several louder sections, especially near Queen Elizabeth Way or the railway line. Finally, this part of the city also features a fair amount of greenery; accessing public green spaces from most locations within the neighbourhood, including Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary (Ps) and Lakeview Park, is easy since there are around 40 of them nearby for residents to visit. In addition, residents will find that numerous tree-lined streets are present.

In Lakeview, the overwhelming majority of dwellings are single detached homes, while the rest are mainly large apartment buildings.
