The neighbourhood of Clarkson is part of the city of Mississauga, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is usually the favoured way to move around in Clarkson. Many properties for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, and finding a place to park is easy. However, travelling by public transit is at times challenging in Clarkson. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and it is very easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most properties. Getting around as a pedestrian in this part of Mississauga is not very common, although many daily errands can be run without a vehicle. This part of the city is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. About 90% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home whereas the rest are renters. This part of Mississauga experienced its largest construction boom between 1960 and 1980, so most of the available housing is from this time period.
