Milton Heights is a neighbourhood within Milton, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent means of transportation in Milton Heights. It is very easy to park. However, Milton Heights is not very transit friendly. This neighbourhood is not very appropriate for cycling because the bicycling network is not very well-developed, and there is a considerable amount of hills. Milton Heights is also not very suitable for walking because very few common errands can be run on foot.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Milton Heights. Moreover, families may find it very difficult for their children to get to daycares on foot. As far as food is concerned, property owners in this part of Milton almost always have to use a car to access the nearest supermarket.

Character

Milton Heights is reasonably good for those who like quiet surroundings, as the streets are quite peaceful - although that is not the case closer to Highway 401 or the railway line. Parks aren't well-located, which makes them rather challenging to get to. Still, residents will be able to access parks in nearby neighbourhoods.

Housing

The sizeable proportion of single detached homes in the housing stock of Milton Heights is an important part of its character.
