401 Business Park

The neighbourhood of 401 Business Park can be found in the town of Milton, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is very often the favoured approach to navigate this part of the town. Parking is easy, and it is a rather short car ride to the closest highway, such as Highway 401, from any location in this part of the town. In contrast, 401 Business Park is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Walking is not very practical for house buyers in 401 Business Park because very few daily needs can be met without the use of a vehicle. It is also difficult to commute by bike in this part of Milton as the bicycling network is quite poor, and there are a good number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave.

Services

Home buyers in this area generally have to use a vehicle to travel to the nearest supermarket. Residents are served by around 40 restaurants and coffee shops. When it comes to education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in 401 Business Park. Likewise, daycares are not numerous and thus not always within walking distance.

Character

401 Business Park remains relatively serene, as there are very few pedestrians. Parks aren't well-distributed, making them rather challenging to get to. Despite that, there are a few green spaces close by for residents to visit.

Housing

Homeowners occupy around three quarters of the properties in 401 Business Park and one quarter are rented. In this neighbourhood, many dwellings are single detached homes, while small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. This neighbourhood experienced its biggest construction boom following the year 2000, so most of the available properties are from this time period. This part of the town has a good variety of housing size options, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
