Transportation

Cars are a very good transportation option in Rural Markham. Parking is generally easy. However, the transit system in this part of the city is rather poor. Nonetheless, residents have access to about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most homes. This neighbourhood is fairly conducive to biking because the cycling infrastructure is reasonably good. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of Markham are located in places that are not particularly conducive to people who travel on foot as few common errands can be run without a vehicle.

Services

In Rural Markham, parents and their schoolchildren will usually be able to get to primary schools by walking. On the other hand, this part of the city does not contain any high schools. When it comes to food, property owners in Rural Markham usually need a vehicle to travel to the nearest supermarket. Nonetheless, reaching the nearest pharmacy and consequently some basic food items is typically easy. There are also a few options for those who appreciate nearby restaurants and cafes.

Character

Rural Markham offers a slower-paced environment and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors.
