Homeowners have access to a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most houses. Travelling by foot is not very common in this area, although many day-to-day errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. It is also at times challenging to move around by bicycle in Buttonville as the cycling network is not very extensive, and there are a good number of elevation changes. There are a few parks nearby for residents to unwind in and they are very well-spread out, which makes it easy to access them from most locations within the neighbourhood.
