Trussler

Trussler is a neighbourhood within Kitchener, Ontario, which is located in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great medium of transportation in Trussler. Parking is quite easy. On the other hand, public transit riders may experience very limited options in Trussler by reason of the low service level. The bike is a somewhat poor mode of transportation in this part of the city since there are a good number of slopes for cyclists to brave, and the cycling network is not very well-developed. It is also very impractical for pedestrians to navigate Trussler since very few day-to-day errands can be run on foot.

Services

Trussler does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, parents and their kids may find it challenging to access daycares as a pedestrian. When it comes to eating, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed in Trussler to reach the closest supermarket.

Character

Trussler offers a calm environment and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. Most areas in this part of the city are quiet, as the streets are usually tranquil. Lastly, although Trussler is not home to any parks, parks are very well-spread out in nearby neighbourhoods, which makes it easy to access them.

Housing

Trussler experienced its largest construction boom after the year 2000, so most of the available properties are from this time period. Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing about half of dwellings in this part of the city, while small apartment buildings are the main alternative in the housing stock. Homeowners occupy around three quarters of the dwellings in Trussler whereas the remainder are rented. This neighbourhood also has a choice of unit sizes - however this part of Kitchener is particularly good for those looking for three bedroom homes.
