Trussler

Trussler is a neighbourhood within Kitchener, Ontario, which is located in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

Getting around by car is very convenient in this part of Kitchener. It is very easy to find a parking spot. However, commuting by transit can be very hard in Trussler due to the infrequent service. This area is not very suitable for people who prefer to travel by foot because very few daily needs can be met without needing a vehicle. The bicycle is a sometimes poor means of transportation in this part of the city because the topography is not especially flat, and there are few bike lanes.

Services

Trussler does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, daycares are not very numerous and accordingly tend to require a rather long distance to get to. When it comes to eating, in all cases, a vehicle is needed to do groceries.

Character

People who prefer a relaxed ambience will enjoy Trussler. This area is reasonably quiet overall, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Finally, although this area does not contain any public green spaces, parks are very well-distributed in nearby neighbourhoods, which results in them being easy to get to from most locations in Trussler.

Housing

Around three quarters of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and renters make up the remainder. Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing roughly half of dwellings in this neighbourhood, while small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. A majority of the housing growth in this part of Kitchener has happened following the year 2000. This area is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.
