Transportation

The preferred method to get around in Hidden Valley is very often driving. It is very convenient to access a parking spot, and nearby highways, such as Highway 8, are especially easy to drive to from any location in this area. Hidden Valley is also a fairly pleasant part of Kitchener for moving around by public transit. More specifically, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. The bike is a somewhat poor mode of transportation in Hidden Valley because there is a significant amount of slopes, and the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive. Thankfully, some bicycling-friendly sectors can be found. Travelling by foot in Hidden Valley is also not very popular, although running daily errands is easy.

Services

In this neighbourhood, parents and their kids will generally be able to get to primary schools by walking. On the other hand, it can be challenging to access high schools as a pedestrian. In terms of eating, a fraction of home buyers in this area may be able to access the closest supermarket on foot, while others will need a vehicle.
