Eastwood is a neighbourhood within Kitchener, Ontario, which is located in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

Eastwood is well-suited for those who prefer to travel as pedestrians; many common errands can be run without the need to get in a vehicle. Eastwood is also cycling-friendly. Residents using public transit may have few choices in this neighbourhood due to the infrequent service. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. However, Eastwood is an extraordinarily good part of Kitchener for moving around by car. Finding a parking spot is generally easy, and most homes for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 7.

Services

The nearest grocery store in this part of Kitchener is generally only a reasonably short walk away. Additionally, Eastwood is a fairly good place in which to eat out. Residents have access to a fair number of nearby clothing stores. With regards to education, both primary and secondary schools are straightforward to reach as a pedestrian from most houses for sale in Eastwood. On the other hand, daycares are not very numerous and therefore may require a long trip to get to.

Character

Despite the somewhat busy feel, there are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Eastwood.
