3 Land For Sale in Northeast, Mississauga

of 0

Northeast

The neighbourhood of Northeast can be found in the city of Mississauga, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

The preferred approach to navigate Northeast is very often driving. It is very convenient to access a parking spot, and many properties for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 409. With plenty of rapid transit stations on the Meadowvale Express, and approximately 20 nearby bus lines, the transit service in Northeast is moderately practical. This part of Mississauga is not especially bike-friendly since the cycling network is rather poor. Thankfully, a few bike-friendly sectors can be found, and bicycling is made easier by the generally flat terrain. Traveling as a pedestrian is also not very popular in Northeast, even though many daily needs can be met without a vehicle.

Services

In this part of Mississauga, parents and their schoolchildren will generally be able to access daycares and schools on foot. Residents can choose between public and private secondary schools. In terms of eating, it is easy to access the closest supermarket without the need for a vehicle in this neighbourhood. Likewise, this part of Mississauga is a good place in which to go out to eat, and a limited number of cafes can be found as well.

Character

Northeast offers a wide variety of green spaces to enjoy. It is very easy to get to green spaces from most locations within the neighbourhood, since there are around 30 of them nearby for residents to check out, like Not Yet Named (P-236) *(East of Creebank Rd Between Eglington and 401) and Mount Charles Park. Due to the presence of few pedestrians, this area is relatively quiet; however noise levels are higher closer to one of the railway lines, the airport (Tarten Heliport), Highway 409 or Highway 410.

Housing

In Northeast, around one third of dwellings are large apartment buildings, but single detached homes are also present in the housing stock. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes. The split between homeowners and renters is about even. This area did not experience a single building boom; the construction of new dwellings in Northeast was spread throughout several decades in the twentieth and twenty-first century.
