This part of Toronto is also quite suitable for walking; many common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle, and many businesses are reasonably close by. The bicycle is a sometimes poor method of transportation in this part of the city as there are a fair number of hills for cyclists to brave, and this area is home to a rather limited bicycling infrastructure.

Nonetheless, there are about 20 green spaces close by for residents to explore, such as Ellesmere Yard - Building Grounds and Glamorgan Park, and they are very well-distributed, which makes it very easy to reach them.
