Hamilton Beach

The neighbourhood of Hamilton Beach can be found in the city of Hamilton, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is an extraordinarily good part of Hamilton for travelling by car. It is very easy to park, and nearby highways, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, are very easy to reach from any location in Hamilton Beach. In contrast, public transit users may experience few options in this neighbourhood due to the service's low frequency. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically very close. The bike is a reasonably good mode of transportation in this area because riding a bicycle is made easier by the generally flat terrain. Walking is not very feasible for house buyers in Hamilton Beach because very few daily errands can be run on foot.

Services

Hamilton Beach does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Additionally, daycares are not abundant and consequently tend to require a very long walk to get to. With respect to food, it is very rarely possible for house buyers in this neighbourhood to shop for groceries on foot.

Character

There is a great selection of green spaces in Hamilton Beach. Parks, including Beach Strip Open Space, are very well-distributed and there are a few of them nearby for residents to relax in, which makes them very easy to get to. Finally, it is relatively quiet in this part of the city, thanks to the presence of very few pedestrians.

Housing

Roughly 80% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and the rest are renters. In this part of the city, most buildings are single detached homes, but duplexes are also present in the housing stock. This neighbourhood experienced its main construction boom prior to the 1960s, so most of the available housing is from this era. This part of Hamilton is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes.
