The neighbourhood of Central can be found in the city of Hamilton, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area.

Transportation

This area allows property owners to travel by a diversity of methods of transportation. This part of the city is very transit friendly. It is convenient to find a nearby train station, such as the West Harbour with access to the Lakeshore West, from the majority of properties in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is served by about 30 bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally just around the corner. Active home buyers will also welcome the very walk-friendly character of Central; many day-to-day needs are easy to meet without having to use a car, and a variety of businesses are close by. A fair number of residents in the area use their bicycle since a bike share station can generally be found nearby, and the cycling infrastructure is reasonably well-developed.

Services

Schools and daycares are very easy to access on foot from most homes for sale in Central. At the elementary level, both public and private schools can be found. As far as food is concerned, a grocery store is generally accessible within a very short walk from most homes for sale in this part of the city. Likewise, Central is a good place in which to go out to eat or go to a cafe.

Character

Despite the somewhat busy feel, there are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Central. There are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to check out and they are very well-spread out, which results in them being very easy to get to from the majority of locations within this neighbourhood. Quiet spots can be found throughout much of Central, although there are still several louder sections, especially around one of the railway lines.
