Located within the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area, Parklawn is a neighbourhood within Cambridge, Ontario.

Transportation

The best approach to get around in Parklawn is usually a car. It is a very short drive to the nearest highway, such as Highway 401, from any home in this part of the city, and parking is generally easy. However, public transit riders may find few choices in Parklawn by reason of the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. It is inconvenient for pedestrians to move around in Parklawn since very few daily errands can be run without having to resort to a car. Getting around by bicycle is also challenging in this part of Cambridge as the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and there are a fair number of hills.

Services

This area does not have any high schools or primary schools. Additionally, daycares are not very abundant and therefore not always within walking distance. With respect to food, a car is usually needed in Parklawn to access the closest grocery store.

Character

Parklawn offers a wide variety of green spaces to enjoy.
