Transportation

Commuting by car is straightforward in Eastview. It is very easy to park. However, commuting by public transit is difficult in Eastview. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. Eastview is not very well-suited for walking since few common errands can be run without the use of a car. Bicycling is also difficult in Eastview because there is a considerable amount of slopes, and there are few bike lanes.

Services

A fraction of home buyers in this area may be able to access the nearest supermarket on foot, while others will need a vehicle. A small selection of restaurants and cafes can be found as well. With regards to education, this part of the city does not have any high schools or primary schools. Additionally, parents may find it difficult for their children to reach daycares on foot.

Character

Eastview is reasonably good for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although that is not the case closer to the railway line. Parks aren't well-situated, which makes them occasionally hard to get to. Still, residents will be able to access parks in nearby neighbourhoods.

Housing

Single detached homes and row houses are the predominant housing type in Eastview. This neighbourhood offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Roughly two thirds of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and the remainder are rented. This part of the city experienced its most significant construction boom after the year 2000, so most of the available housing is from this time period.
