Transportation

Driving is a great medium of transportation in this part of the city. It is especially convenient to find a parking spot, and it is a very short drive to the closest highway, such as Highway 410, from any location in this area. The reasonably good public transit access allows people to get to many destinations without needing a vehicle as a consequence of Bramalea on the Kitchener, and about 20 nearby bus lines. Although some bike-friendly pockets exist, Steeles Industrial is not particularly appropriate for bicycling as the bicycling network is not very comprehensive, and there are a good number of slopes. Travelling by foot is also not very common in this part of the city, although many daily needs can be met by walking.

Services

It is typically feasible for house buyers in this area to buy groceries by walking. There are also around 30 restaurants and cafes in Steeles Industrial. With respect to education, there are only a few high schools in this neighbourhood and thus they can be a rather long walk away. Furthermore, Steeles Industrial does not have any primary schools. Moreover, it can be difficult to access daycares on foot.

Character

There is a wide variety of green spaces in Steeles Industrial. There are a few green spaces close by for residents to relax in, including Sam Rayson Valley and Kuehne Park South, and they are very well-situated, which makes it easy to get to them. Finally, due to the presence of very few pedestrians, this part of Brampton is relatively calm.
