Parkway Belt

The neighbourhood of Parkway Belt is part of the city of Brampton, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of the city is reasonably transit friendly. In particular, residents benefit from around 10 bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. It is almost impossible to commute by bicycle in this part of the city as there are quite a few slopes, and the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive. Nonetheless, a few bike-friendly areas exist. Parkway Belt is not very well-suited for pedestrians as many daily needs are sometimes difficult to meet without the use of a car. On the other hand, this part of Brampton is especially car friendly. It is very convenient to find a place to park, and the vast majority of the street network is built for cars.

Services

In Parkway Belt, families will usually be able to access daycares and primary schools on foot. On the other hand, Parkway Belt does not contain any high schools. Regarding eating, it is easy to reach the nearest supermarket by foot from any location in this part of the city.
