The neighbourhood of Mount Pleasant can be found in the city of Brampton, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Mount Pleasant presents property owners with the choice between a variety of modes of transportation. The preferred approach to move around in this neighbourhood is often driving. It is easy to park. Mount Pleasant also features a reasonably good public transit system. More specifically, homeowners are served by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are typically nearby. It is occasionally difficult for pedestrians to get around in this part of the city because few common errands can be run without the use of a car. In contrast, Mount Pleasant is conducive to bicycling since there are few elevation changes to confront cyclists, and there are a good number of bike lanes.

Services

Accessing the nearest grocery store on foot is an option for some, but not all, home buyers in this area. Residents can enjoy a few restaurants and coffee shops as well. Lastly, there are about 20 parks close by for residents to enjoy, such as Creditview Sandalwood Park Expansion and Eccles Valley, which makes it very easy to access them.

The large percentage of single detached homes in the housing stock of Mount Pleasant is an important part of its character. The buildings in this part of the city are very new, since roughly 200% of its dwellings were built following the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed 1990. This neighbourhood also has quite a good choice of unit sizes; this neighbourhood is notable for those looking for four or more bedroom homes.
