The neighbourhood of Southwood can be found in the town of Ajax, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

The best approach to get around in this neighbourhood is very often a car. Parking is quite easy, and it is a reasonably short drive to the nearest highway from anywhere in Southwood. On the other hand, the public transit system in Southwood is not very accessible. Nonetheless, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. Southwood is not particularly suitable for walking since running daily errands is sometimes challenging by walking. This part of Ajax is also not particularly amenable to biking because the topography is not especially flat, and this area is home to a fairly poor cycling infrastructure.
