Transportation

This neighbourhood is an extremely good part of Halifax for travelling by car. Parking is easy, and the majority of real estate listings are a very short car ride from the nearest highway. On the other hand, Riverside is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically just around the corner. Riverside is not very bike-friendly since there are a good number of slopes, and the cycling network is somewhat poor. It is also at times difficult for pedestrians to get around in Riverside as few day-to-day needs can be carried out on foot.

Services

In this neighbourhood, families will generally be able to access daycares and high schools on foot. On the other hand, this area does not contain any primary schools.
