Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in Otter Lake. It is very convenient to park, and nearby highways are very easy to access from anywhere in Otter Lake. This part of the municipality is not very conducive to walking because very few day-to-day errands can be run on foot. Cycling is also at times challenging in Otter Lake because there are very few bike lanes. Thankfully, cyclists do not face serious elevation changes.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of Halifax. Furthermore, there are only a very small number of daycares and accordingly they can be a very long walk away.
