Transportation

This area is very car friendly. Nearby highways are easy to reach from anywhere in this area, and finding a parking spot is easy. On the other hand, the public transit service in North Street is rather poor. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most properties. This area is not particularly bicycling-friendly as there are quite a few slopes, and the cycling infrastructure is fairly poor. Walking is also not especially practical for house buyers in North Street because few common errands can be run without the use of a car.

Services

Character

People who prefer a calm environment will enjoy North Street. It is easy to access public green spaces since there are a few of them close by for residents to unwind in. This neighbourhood is also very good for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as the streets are usually very calm.

Housing

The substantial proportion of single detached homes in the housing stock of North Street is an important part of its character. This part of the municipality is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. About two thirds of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners whereas the rest are rented. About one third of homes in this part of the municipality were constructed between 1960 and 1980, while many of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1980s.
