Transportation

This area is especially car friendly. Finding a parking spot is easy. It is very difficult for pedestrians to get around in Halibut Bay as running daily errands is very challenging. This area is also not very bike-friendly because the bicycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive, and cyclists are faced with quite a few slopes.

Services

Halibut Bay does not have any high schools or primary schools. With respect to eating, in all cases, a vehicle is required to shop for groceries.

Character

Halibut Bay is excellent for those who need quiet areas, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Green spaces aren't well-distributed, making them sometimes hard to reach. Still, residents will be able to access parks in nearby communities.

Housing

Roughly one quarter of homes in Halibut Bay were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s.
