Part of the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Halibut Bay is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

The preferred method to move around in this part of Halifax is usually driving. It is very easy to park. Halibut Bay is not very cycling-friendly as bicycle riders are faced with a significant amount of hills, and there are very few bike lanes. Walking is also not very practical for house buyers in this community as running common errands is very challenging without a car.

This part of Halifax does not have any high schools or primary schools. Concerning food, house buyers in this community almost always have to turn to a vehicle to travel to the nearest supermarket.

People who prefer a slower-paced ambience will enjoy Halibut Bay. Halibut Bay is very quiet, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue.
