Situated in the Greater St. John's metropolitan area, Pearlview is a neighbourhood within Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Transportation

The car is usually the favoured method to move around in Pearlview. The majority of real estate listings are a very short car ride from the closest highway, and it is very easy to access a parking spot. However, commuting by transit can be difficult in Pearlview by reason of the infrequent service. Thankfully, homeowners are served by a few bus lines, and it is very easy to find a nearby bus stop from most homes. Walking is not very convenient for house buyers in Pearlview because few common errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle. Pearlview is also not especially appropriate for biking because there is a significant amount of elevation changes, and the cycling network is not very well-developed.

Services

Accessing the closest supermarket on foot is feasible for some, but not all, house buyers in Pearlview. As far as education is concerned, parents and their children will appreciate the proximity to daycares, which are within walking distance from most properties for sale in this neighbourhood. However, Pearlview does not contain any primary schools or high schools.

Character

Pearlview is quiet overall, as the streets are usually calm.
