Part of the Greater St. John's metropolitan area, Pearlview is a neighbourhood within Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Transportation

Pearlview is an extraordinarily convenient part of Mount Pearl for travelling by car. Many real estate listings are a short drive from the closest highway, and it is very convenient to park. However, travelling by transit can be difficult in Pearlview by reason of the low service level. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly nearby. Moving around by bicycle is sometimes difficult in Pearlview as cyclists are faced with a considerable amount of elevation changes, and there are few bike lanes. This part of the city is also not very suitable for walking as few common errands can be run without the use of a car.

Services

Families will appreciate that wherever their property is located in this part of Mount Pearl, daycares are close by. However, there are no primary schools and no high schools in Pearlview. With regards to eating, in all but a few cases, a vehicle is required to buy groceries.

Character

Pearlview is quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
