Part of the Greater Saint John metropolitan area, McAllister is a neighbourhood within Saint John, New Brunswick.

Transportation

Driving is a great means of transportation in this area. It is very convenient to come across a place to park, and nearby highways are reasonably easy to reach from anywhere in McAllister. However, McAllister is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, property owners have access to about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are usually nearby. McAllister is not very suitable for walking since few daily errands can be run without the use of a car.

Services

This part of the city does not have any high schools or primary schools. Moreover, families may consider it challenging for their children to get to daycares on foot. When it comes to eating, it is typically practical for property owners in this neighbourhood to shop for groceries by walking. A limited selection of restaurants and cafes can be found as well.

Character

McAllister offers a calm atmosphere and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors.
