Lakewood is a very good part of Saint John for travelling by car. It is very easy to park. In contrast, the public transit system in Lakewood is rather limited. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and it is especially convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most homes.
