Transportation

This neighbourhood is especially car friendly. Most houses for sale are a short car ride from the closest highway, and it is very easy to find a place to park. Travelling on foot is not very feasible for home buyers in this neighbourhood since running common errands is difficult by walking.

Services

In vast majority cases, a car is needed in this part of Fredericton to access the closest supermarket. There are a few choices for those who care about restaurants within walking distance. When it comes to education, there are only a limited number of primary schools in this part of the city and therefore they can be an extended walk away. Likewise, Barkers Point does not have any high schools. In addition, parents may consider it difficult for their kids to get to daycares on foot.
