Cambie is a neighbourhood within Vancouver, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of Vancouver does not require driving because several other modes of transportation are available. The public transit service in this area is very good by reason of a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations on the Canada Line, and a few nearby bus lines. It is also very convenient for pedestrians to move around in this part of Vancouver; most daily needs are very easy to meet by walking, and a variety of businesses are reasonably close by. Cambie will draw active people as it is very suited for biking. More specifically, Cambie has a good bicycling infrastructure, and bike-share stations are seldomly more than a short walk away.

Services

A general and a specialty grocery store is always only a rather short walk away in this part of Vancouver. Moreover, Cambie is a good place in which to eat out or go to a cafe. In terms of education, it is a reasonably short walk to get to daycares and schools from most homes for sale in Cambie. Besides public schools, there are private elementary and high schools.

Cambie has a character that appeals to a fairly diverse group of people. Cambie is reasonably quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
