The neighbourhood of Northwest Langley is part of the municipality of Township of Langley, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Commuting by car is very convenient in Northwest Langley. It is very convenient to park, and most homes for sale are a rather short drive from the closest highway. On the other hand, Northwest Langley is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, property owners benefit from a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally very close. Northwest Langley is not particularly conducive to those who travel by foot because carrying out daily needs is at times difficult. On the other hand, this part of Township of Langley is quite cycling-friendly as there are a fair number of bike lanes.

Services

The nearest supermarket in Northwest Langley is generally only a short walk away. A limited selection of restaurants and coffee shops can be found as well. As far as education is concerned, it is a reasonably short walk to access daycares and primary schools from most properties for sale in this area. However, Northwest Langley does not contain any high schools.

Character

Northwest Langley is a good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere. Parks are especially well-distributed and there are a few of them nearby for residents to unwind in, making them easy to access. This neighbourhood is quiet overall, as the streets tend to be quite calm.

Housing

In Northwest Langley, roughly one third of dwellings are single detached homes, whereas the rest are mainly small apartment buildings and duplexes.
