North Quadra is a neighbourhood within Saanich, British Columbia, which is situated in the Greater Victoria metropolitan area.

Transportation

Commuting by car is especially convenient in this area. Nearby highways are very easy to reach from any home in North Quadra, and it is easy to find a place to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in this neighbourhood is not very frequent. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close by. Traveling as a pedestrian in this part of the municipality is not very common, despite the fact that many daily needs can be carried out without a vehicle. On the other hand, North Quadra will draw active house buyers as it is rather suited for bicycling. For example, there are a fair number of bike lanes.

Services

It is convenient to reach the nearest grocery store by foot from most houses for sale in North Quadra. There are also a limited number of options for those who value close by restaurants and cafes. Character

North Quadra is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. This neighbourhood is also very good for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere, as the streets are usually very tranquil.

Single detached homes are the main housing type, representing about one third of dwellings in North Quadra, but small apartment buildings and duplexes are also present in the housing stock.
