Transportation

Cars are a good means of transportation in Gordon Head. Parking is easy. However, the public transit system in Gordon Head is not particularly practical. Thankfully, there are approximately 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. Gordon Head is not especially convenient for those who travel by foot since running daily errands is sometimes difficult by walking. However, a large number of residents in the area use their bike as the bicycling network is quite extensive.

Services

Reaching the closest supermarket on foot is an option for some, but not all, house buyers in this part of Saanich. There are also a few opportunities for those who value close by restaurants and cafes. With regards to education, it is a short walk to reach schools and daycares from any location in this part of the municipality. Families benefit from public and private schools at both the primary and high school level.

The character of Gordon Head is exemplified by its calm ambience. This area is very good for those who need a quiet atmosphere, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
