East Richmond is a neighbourhood within Richmond, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Walking is moderately practical for residents in East Richmond; meeting day-to-day needs is convenient without a car. East Richmond is also rather amenable to cycling because there are a limited number of hills to challenge cyclists. Driving is an excellent medium of transportation in this part of the city. Parking is quite easy, and most properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 99. In contrast, travelling by public transit is sometimes difficult in East Richmond. Nonetheless, there are approximately 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is generally very close by.

Services

Buying one's groceries usually necessitates the use of a car in East Richmond. Nonetheless, it is generally a rather short trip to the nearest pharmacy, which can provide some basic food items.
