The neighbourhood of Townsite is part of the city of Nanaimo, British Columbia, which is situated in the Greater Nanaimo metropolitan area.

Transportation

Active house buyers will appreciate the fairly bike-friendly nature of Townsite. More specifically, the cycling network is comprehensive. Getting around as a pedestrian is also reasonably feasible for property owners in Townsite; many daily needs can be met without the use of a vehicle. Commuting by public transit is challenging in this area. Nevertheless, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally around the corner. However, cars are a fairly good medium of transportation in Townsite. It is convenient to park.

Services

Parents and their kids will appreciate that no matter where their property is located in this area, daycares and primary schools are close by. However, Townsite does not contain any high schools.
