Transportation

Townsite is a fairly pleasant part of Nanaimo for bike riders. More precisely, there are a good number of bike lanes. This part of the city is also reasonably well-suited for walking; many common errands can be run on foot. The public transit system in Townsite is fairly poor. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most properties. In contrast, Townsite is car friendly. It is convenient to park.
