The neighbourhood of Renfrew can be found in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood presents house buyers with several alternative modes of transportation. A majority of the homes for sale in this area are located in places that are conducive to walking; meeting daily needs is convenient on foot, and there are also a good number of businesses close by. Physically active people will also appreciate the reasonably bike-friendly nature of this part of the city. More specifically, Renfrew has a reasonably good bicycling infrastructure. Thanks to a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations on the Millennium Line and Expo Line, and about 10 nearby bus lines, Renfrew is a very pleasant part of Vancouver for getting around by public transit. Renfrew is also quite car friendly. The majority of houses for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway.

Services

It is often feasible for home buyers in this part of the city to purchase general and specialty groceries on foot. Residents are served by around 40 restaurants and coffee shops as well. Concerning education, daycares and schools are straightforward to get to on foot from most houses for sale in this part of the city. Parents have the choice between public and private schools at both the elementary and secondary school level.

The character of Renfrew is exemplified by its calm ambience. There are a few parks close by for residents to unwind in, like Renfrew Community Park and Falaise Park, and they are very well-distributed, making it very easy to access them. This area is also quiet, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although that is not the case closer to one of the railway lines or Trans-Canada Highway.
