This area offers property owners the choice between a variety of means of transportation. Owing to a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations on the Expo Line, and about 10 nearby bus lines, Metrotown-Central Park is a very pleasant part of Burnaby for moving around by public transit. It is also very convenient for people travelling on foot to navigate this area; most daily needs are easy to meet by walking, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Cycling is easy in Metrotown-Central Park because there are a fair number of bike lanes.

Services

House buyers in this part of Burnaby will value that a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a short walk away. Kingsway is among the best streets for food stores. In addition, there are a fair number of choices in close proximity for those who appreciate restaurants and cafes. Regarding education, families will value that wherever their home is located in this neighbourhood, schools and daycares are nearby. At the primary level, there are both public and private schools.
