Located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Cypress Provincial Park is a neighbourhood within West Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

Travelling by car is especially convenient in Cypress Provincial Park. The majority of the street network is well suited for cars, and it is very easy to access a parking spot. On the other hand, the public transit service in Cypress Provincial Park is fairly poor. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. It is very difficult for pedestrians to navigate Cypress Provincial Park because almost no common errands can be run on foot. The bike is a rather poor mode of transportation in this area as there is a significant amount of elevation changes, and the cycling network is quite poor.

Services

Property owners in this area almost always have to use a vehicle to access the nearest grocery store. With regards to education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in this area.

Character

One of the highlights of Cypress Provincial Park is its wide variety of green spaces. There are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to visit, making it very easy to access them. Lastly, this part of West Vancouver can be rather noisy, as traffic during busier hours of the day can occasionally be bothersome.

Housing

Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing about 40% of buildings in Cypress Provincial Park, while the remainder are mainly large apartment buildings and small apartment buildings.
