Situated within the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Central Ladner is a neighbourhood within Delta, British Columbia.

Transportation

Travelling by car is straightforward in Central Ladner. It is convenient to park, and the majority of properties for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway. In contrast, this area is not an especially pleasant part of Delta for getting around by public transit. Nonetheless, homeowners have access to a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. The bike is a reasonably good mode of transportation in Central Ladner. Many of the homes for sale in this area are located in places that are not especially well-suited for walking because running daily errands is occasionally difficult.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are convenient to reach on foot from most houses for sale in this neighbourhood. On the other hand, this neighbourhood does not have any high schools. At the elementary level, both public and private schools can be found. With respect to food, reaching the nearest grocery store by walking is an option for some, but not all, property owners in Central Ladner. A limited number of restaurants and coffee shops are available as well.

Character

People who prefer a relaxed atmosphere will enjoy Central Ladner. There are approximately 20 public green spaces close by for residents to explore and they are very well-spread out, which makes them easy to reach from most locations within the neighbourhood. This part of the municipality is also quiet, as the streets tend to be peaceful.

Housing

In Central Ladner, around 60% of buildings are single detached homes, but small apartment buildings and duplexes are also present in the housing stock. This area offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy around 85% of the dwellings in Central Ladner and 15% are rented.
