The neighbourhood of Marina Gardens is part of the municipality of Delta, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Marina Gardens is an extremely convenient part of Delta for moving around by car. Nearby highways are moderately easy to access from any location in this area, and it is very convenient to park. However, the public transit infrastructure in Marina Gardens is not very practical. Nonetheless, residents are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most properties. The bike is a reasonably good mode of transportation in Marina Gardens. This neighbourhood is not very convenient for pedestrians as very few daily needs can be met without a car.

Services

Daycares and primary schools are very easy to reach as a pedestrian from most properties for sale in Marina Gardens. In contrast, this area does not contain any high schools. Regarding eating, it is rarely feasible for property owners in Marina Gardens to reach the closest supermarket as pedestrians.

Character

Marina Gardens is a very good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. Green spaces are very easy to get to since there are approximately 10 of them close by for residents to unwind in. This neighbourhood is very quiet overall, as the streets tend to be very tranquil.

Housing

In Marina Gardens, the majority of buildings are single detached homes, but small apartment buildings and townhouses are also present in the housing stock. This part of the municipality offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Nearly 90% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 10% are rented. Roughly 45% of properties in this part of Delta were built following the year 2000, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1990s.
