West Maple Ridge is a neighbourhood within Maple Ridge, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

West Maple Ridge is very car friendly. Coming across a place to park is quite easy, and the majority of real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway. In contrast, West Maple Ridge is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, house owners benefit from a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually just around the corner. This part of Maple Ridge is cycling-friendly. However, travelling by foot is not very popular in this neighbourhood, although many daily needs can be met by walking.

Services

It is a short walk to get to schools and daycares from any location in this neighbourhood. Apart from public schools, there are private primary and high schools. In terms of eating, the nearest supermarket in West Maple Ridge is usually only a rather short walk away. There are also a few options for those who care about close by restaurants and cafes.

Character

The character of West Maple Ridge is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. It is easy to reach parks from a large number of locations in the neighbourhood since there are approximately 20 of them nearby for residents to relax in.
