The neighbourhood of Rothsay is part of the city of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Rothsay is especially car friendly. It is very convenient to park. In contrast, commuting by transit can be challenging in Rothsay by reason of the infrequent service. Thankfully, property owners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most homes. A majority of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are not very well-suited for walking because running daily errands is very impractical by walking. Cycling is also difficult in Rothsay as there is a considerable amount of hills, and there are very few bike lanes.

Rothsay does not have any high schools or primary schools. Moreover, it can be very difficult to access daycares as a pedestrian. When it comes to eating, it is very rarely an option for property owners in this neighbourhood to travel to the nearest grocery store on foot.
